The Peacock Fairy was originally a photograph from our instructor in the AWAKE course. The purpose of this piece was to push outside of the comfort zone with our art. I have also posted the original photo. Before/After. This fairy was meant to feel whimsical but a little dark. Not unlike life itself, not all things in Fairy Land are rosy.
"SHADOWS" is a piece about a young girl's transition from child to teenager. She still has a child's shadow but is moving towards the light of maturity.
